ABOUT METACLARITY VISUALS

Christy Xu developed a passion for creative visual expression at a young age, and has been building upon it since. She is fascinated by the movement of light, the interrelation of color and form, and the ability to translate abstract ideas into tangible experiences. Her goal throughout every project is to reflect and communicate the essence of a subject or the message of an organization.

With a Penn State B.A. in photojournalism and a minor in sociology, Christy is a freelance photographer currently based in Princeton, NJ. She is experienced with professional portrait, product, and event photography, as well as content creation and social media management. Her work with clientele began in 2016.

Born in Qingdao, China, and raised on the east coast of the United States, her early experiences in two vastly different cultures have sculpted her to be deeply curious about cultural narratives and the diversity of the human experience. Most fundamentally, she aims to be a facilitator of connection and humanity through her craft.
